Why Employ A Personal Trainer?

A lot of people don't employ a personal trainer because they consider it too expensive or a waste of money. They should consider the fact that obesity affects 1 in 5 people: this has become such an issue that the government has invested (NHS) £500m per year to tackle this issue. It is a fact that 90% of people don't meet the World Health Education guidelines of 30 minutes moderate exercise 5 times a week. The dilemma is that the nation's health is deteriorating and little is being done about it because people just aren't aware.

Put into perspective, most people would put little thought into investing £500 in a one-week holiday package, but would not consider investing the same amount of money in themselves and their own health. £500 could easily pay for 12 weeks' personal training, fitness assessment and nutritional advice, which raises the question "what price can you put on your own health?"

As well as the health benefits, personal training is a fast-track method to looking and feeling good. Each client has a specific programme tailored to his or her needs, whether it is weight loss / gain, toning, increasing fitness, strength or definition.
